Description
This sandwich toast recipe is a quick and easy meal, ideal for student cooking or as a snack in between. Prepared with toast bread, herb cream cheese, cooked ham, cheese and tomato, it is ready in just 15 minutes. The recipe yields 4 servings and is both hearty and inexpensive.

Preparation (5 steps)
Prepare toast bread slices
Spread four slices of toast bread with 2 tbsp of herb cream cheese. Top each slice with 4 slices of cooked ham and 4 slices of cheese.
Prepare tomatoes
Cut 1 tomato into thin slices and distribute on the topped toast bread slices. Cover with the remaining four toast bread slices and press together slightly.
Heat up pan
Heat a pan on the highest setting until the frying window. Turn off the stove.
Fry sandwiches
Place sandwiches in the pan and cover with the lid. Turn after about 1 minute and put the lid back on.
Finish frying sandwiches
Continue frying for about 5 minutes until the sandwich toasts are hot, crispy and golden brown.
