Description

This tomato pasta dish is a quick and easy main course, ideal for student cooking. With just a few ingredients like onions, garlic, canned tomatoes, cream, and cheese, it's quick to prepare in the Thermomix®. The preparation time is only 20 minutes and it serves 2. Perfect for a hearty indulgence.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 0.5 Stück Onion
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 2 EL Olive oil
  • 400 g Diced tomatoes (canned)
  • 1 TL Dried Italian herbs
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • 50 ml Cream
  • 50 g Grated cheese (e.g. Gouda)
  • 200 g Pasta

Preparation (5 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Place half an onion (approx. 50g), peeled, and one clove of garlic into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec/speed 5. If necessary, scrape down the sides with the spatula.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the chopped onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min/120°C/speed 1.

Add tomatoes and cook

Add 400g of diced canned tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs, salt and pepper to taste to the mixing bowl and cook for 10 min/100°C/speed 1. Leave the measuring cup in place.

Add cream and cheese

Add 50ml of cream and 50g of grated cheese (e.g. Gouda) to the mixing bowl and stir for 2 min/60°C/speed 2.

Season the sauce and serve

1 min/Linkslauf/Speed 1 Reverse

Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Add 200g of cooked pasta to the sauce in the mixing bowl and mix for 1 min/Reverse/speed 1. Serve immediately.
