Description
This cinnamon cake with nuts, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a delicious classic cake with hazelnuts and cinnamon. The recipe from the cake category is ready in 50 minutes and yields 12 servings. Ideal for coffee time, as a dessert or for breakfast. Thanks to the simple preparation in the Thermomix®, the cake is guaranteed to succeed.

200 g Sugar

125 g Margarine
-
3 Stück Eggs

250 g Flour
-
1 Pck. Baking powder

1 TL Cinnamon
-
100 g Hazelnuts, ground

2 EL Powdered sugar
-
1 EL Water
Preparation (7 steps)
Chop nuts
Put hazelnuts in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.
Stir sugar and margarine
Put sugar and margarine in the mixing bowl and stir for 3 min./speed 3.
Add eggs
Add eggs one at a time and stir in for 20 sec./speed 3 each.
Add flour mixture
Mix flour, baking powder and cinnamon, add to the mixing bowl and stir in for 30 sec./speed 4.
Fold in nuts
Add chopped hazelnuts and fold in with the spatula.
Bake batter
Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C top/bottom heat for approx. 30 minutes.
Prepare powdered sugar
Mix powdered sugar and water and spread over the cooled cake.
