Description
This juicy Sunken Apple Cake from the Thermomix® is a simple cake classic with apples, eggs and flour. In just 60 minutes, you can create a delicious dessert for the whole family. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes only 20 minutes. Ideal for an autumnal coffee table or as a warming dessert.
Ingredients (10 ingredients)

125 g Margarine

125 g Sugar

2 Stück Eggs

1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar

250 g Flour
-
2 TL Baking powder
-
1 Prise Salt
-
500 g Apples
-
1 Stück Lemon (juice)

1 EL Powdered sugar
Preparation (6 steps)
Prepare apples
Peel, halve, core the apples and score the rounded side several times. Sprinkle with lemon juice and set aside.
Prepare dough
Put 125 g margarine, 125 g sugar, 2 eggs, 1 packet of vanilla sugar into the mixing bowl and mix for 1 minute/speed 4.
Add dry ingredients
Add 250 g flour, 2 level tsp baking powder and 1 pinch of salt to the dough in the mixing bowl and mix for 30 seconds/speed 3.
Fill cake
Pour the dough into a greased springform pan and spread the prepared apple halves on top in a circle.
Baking
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 30-40 minutes.
Serve
Dust the cake with powdered sugar before serving.
