Description
This simple tortellini bake with creamy tomato cream sauce is a quick and delicious dish for the whole family. The tortellini are mixed with an aromatic sauce, topped with cheese, and baked in the oven until golden brown. Ideal as a main course for a quick lunch or dinner. Prepared in the Thermomix®, this bake is particularly easy and time-saving.
Ingredients (12 ingredients)

750 g Tortellini - refrigerated section

1 Stück red onion

1 Zehe garlic clove

1 EL olive oil
-
1 EL tomato paste

800 g chopped tomatoes - canned

200 g cream
-
1 EL oregano
-
1 EL chopped basil

100 g grated mozzarella
-

Preparation (6 steps)
Chop onion and garlic
Peel and halve the red onion and place it in the mixing bowl with the garlic clove. Chop for 3 sec/speed 5. If necessary, scrape down the sides with the spatula.
Sauté onion and garlic
Add the olive oil and sauté for 3 min/120°C/speed 1.
Sauté tomato paste
Add the tomato paste and sauté briefly for 1 min/120°C/speed 1.
Prepare sauce
Add the chopped tomatoes, cream, oregano, and basil to the mixing bowl. Season with salt and pepper and simmer for 5 min/100°C/speed 2.
Prepare bake
Preheat the oven to 200°C top/bottom heat. Mix the tortellini with the sauce in a baking dish and sprinkle with the grated mozzarella.
Bake casserole
Bake the tortellini al forno in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
