Description

Gratinated toast slices are a quick and easy main course from the Thermomix® with toast bread, crème fraîche, diced ham and cheese. Prepared in just 25 minutes, the recipe yields 2 servings. Ideal for quick, hearty cuisine or as a warm snack. Perfect when you want something uncomplicated.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 8 Scheibe/n Toast bread
  • 200 ml Crème fraîche
  • Cream
  • 0.5 Onion(s)
  • 100 g Diced ham
  • 200 g Cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chives, fresh or frozen

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop onions

Thermomix® Setting

Put 0.5 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Prepare topping

Mix 200 ml crème fraîche, a little cream, the chopped onions, 100 g diced ham, 200 g grated cheese, salt and pepper and a little chives in a bowl.

Top the toast

Spread the prepared topping on the toast bread slices.

Gratinate

Bake the topped toast slices in a preheated oven at 200°C for approx. 10 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and melted.
