Description
This sniffling nose ointment is a soothing home remedy for the winter season. With shea butter, coconut oil and essential oils, it is quick and easy to prepare in the Thermomix®. The ointment is ideal for care for cold symptoms and is suitable for the whole family. Preparation takes only 15 minutes.
Ingredients (5 ingredients)

50 g Shea butter

20 g Coconut oil
-
10 g Beeswax
-
5 Tropfen Thyme oil (essential)

5 Tropfen Cajeput oil (essential)
Preparation (5 steps)
Melt shea butter
Add 50 g shea butter to the mixing bowl and melt for 5 min./50°C/speed 2.
Add and melt coconut oil
Add 20 g coconut oil to the melted shea butter in the mixing bowl and melt for another 3 min./50°C/speed 2.
Add and melt beeswax
Add 10 g beeswax to the remaining ingredients in the mixing bowl and melt for another 3 min./50°C/speed 2.
Add and mix essential oils
Add 5 drops of thyme oil and 5 drops of cajeput oil to the melted mixture in the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./speed 2.
Filling
Immediately fill the ointment into clean jars and let it cool. The ointment is ready for use after cooling.
