Description

Prepare delicious Urzel donuts with the Thermomix®, a traditional, deep-fried yeast pastry. The main ingredients are flour, milk, eggs, sugar and yeast. This sweet dessert is ideal for Carnival or as a special treat. The preparation time is approx. 90 minutes, of which 30 minutes is active working time. The recipe yields a certain number of servings and is perfect for lovers of sweet pastries.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 kg Flour
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 5 Stück Eggs
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 2 Päckchen Dry yeast
  • 2 Päckchen Lemon sugar
  • 15 EL Melted butter
  • 0.5 Stück Butter
  • 4 TL Salt
  • 1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise Oil for frying

Prepare ingredients

Add 400 ml milk to the mixing bowl.

Prepare yeast dough

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/99°F/Speed 2 99°F

Add 2 packets of dry yeast, 60 g sugar, 15 tbsp melted butter, 4 tsp salt, 1 packet of vanilla sugar and 2 packets of lemon sugar. Stir for 1 min./37°C/speed 2.

Add flour and knead

Thermomix® Setting

Add 1 kg flour. Knead for 3 min./kneading setting.

Let dough rise

Remove the dough from the mixing bowl, place in a bowl, dust with flour and let rise covered in a warm place for about 1 hour.

Shape donuts and let rise

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of about 1 cm and cut out donuts. Let the cut-out donuts rise again for 15 minutes.

Bake donuts

Bake the donuts in hot oil (approx. 170°C) until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
