Description

These soft Arabic bread rolls are a great alternative to traditional bread, perfect for stuffing with your favorite ingredients or simply enjoying with a drizzle of oil. The recipe is really simple and, with the help of our trusted Thermomix®, the dough will be ready in no time. I often prepare them for a quick lunch or to accompany an informal dinner. Their soft texture and delicate flavor make them irresistible. Try them, you won't regret it! Also ideal for children, who love them stuffed with ham and cheese. Leavening is essential to obtain the right softness.

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • Type 0 flour
  • Water
  • Dry brewer's yeast
  • to taste Salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Dissolve the yeast

Pour the water into the Thermomix bowl and add the dry brewer's yeast. Mix to dissolve the yeast. Set 20 Sec./Stufe 3.

Knead

Thermomix® Setting

Add the flour and salt to the bowl. Knead with the kneading function for 2 Min.

Leavening

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for about 2 hours, or until doubled in volume.

Form the rolls

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface and knead it briefly. Divide the dough into four equal parts and form round or oval rolls. Arrange the rolls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Baking in the oven

Bake in a static oven preheated to 200°C for 12-15 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed and golden. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
