Description

These yeast rolls are a classic for breakfast or brunch. With just a few ingredients and a short preparation time, they are quick to make. The recipe makes 12 rolls and is ideal for a cozy weekend. The rolls are fluffy, light and taste good both sweet and savory.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 150 ml Milk
  • 1 Würfel Yeast
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • 50 g Butter, soft
  • 50 ml Milk

Prepare yeast

Put 150 ml milk and 1 cube of yeast into the mixing bowl and heat for 2 min./37°C/speed 2.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Add 300 g flour, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar and 50 g soft butter to the milk-yeast mixture in the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading setting.

Let the dough rise

Pour the dough into a bowl and let it rise, covered, in a warm place for about 30 minutes, until the volume has doubled.

Shape rolls

Briefly knead the dough on a floured work surface and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Brush rolls

Put 50 ml milk into the mixing bowl and heat for 1 min./50°C/speed 1. Brush the rolls with the heated milk.

Bake rolls

Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
