Description

I love this yogurt-chia-muesli bowl as a quick and healthy start to the day! The combination of creamy yogurt, crunchy muesli and fresh fruit is simply unbeatable. Chia seeds provide an extra portion of fiber and keep you full for a long time. You can vary the recipe according to your taste, for example with different types of fruit, nuts or spices. I especially like it with berries and a hint of cinnamon. Ideal for a quick breakfast or as a healthy snack in between. And the best part: it's super easy to prepare!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 150 g Plain yogurt
  • 1 tbsp Chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp Muesli
  • 100 ml Milk
  • Nuts
  • Jam
  • Fruit
  • Cocoa powder
  • Cinnamon powder

Preparation (4 steps)

Mix yogurt and chia seeds

10 sec/Speed 3

Put 150 g plain yogurt and 1 heaped tbsp chia seeds into the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./speed 3.

Add milk

Put 100 ml milk (cow, almond or soy milk) into the mixing bowl and stir for another 10 sec./speed 3.

Mix in muesli, nuts and spices

Put 1 heaped tbsp muesli (any kind or oat flakes), nuts as needed (e.g. slivered almonds and sunflower seeds), jam (e.g. strawberry jam), finely chopped fruit (e.g. apple, berries, banana), cocoa powder and cinnamon powder to taste in the mixing bowl and stir in for 10 sec./speed 2 reverse.

Let it sit

Fill the yogurt-chia mixture into a closable glass and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight if possible. Alternatively, the fruit and muesli can also be stirred in or sprinkled on top the next morning.
