Description

These stuffed chicken rolls are a delicious and simple option for a quick and tasty meal. The combination of juicy chicken, ham and melted cheese is simply irresistible. I prepare them often because they are very easy to make and always succeed, both among children and adults. In addition, they can be accompanied with a wide variety of side dishes, from a fresh salad to baked potatoes. A versatile and delicious recipe that you can't miss! Perfect for a weeknight dinner or even a special lunch. The key is the crunchy breading that gives it an extra touch of flavor.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 1 piece chicken supreme
  • 2 slice ham
  • 2 slice cheese
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsp flour

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare the chicken

Cut the chicken supreme into two thin fillets. Place each fillet between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently tap with a rolling pin to flatten and thin them. This ensures even cooking and a juicy result.

Fill and roll

Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken fillet. Roll the fillets with the filling, making sure they are tightly closed to prevent the cheese from melting during cooking.

Prepare the breading

In a deep dish, beat the egg. In another dish, place the flour and in a third, the breadcrumbs. Pass each chicken roll first through the flour, making sure to cover it completely. Then, dip it in the beaten egg and, finally, coat it with the breadcrumbs. For a crispier breading, repeat the egg and breadcrumb process. Make sure to bread the edges well to prevent the filling from coming out.

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Bake the rolls

Place the chicken rolls on a previously greased baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. Then, turn them over and bake for 5 more minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
