Description

These glazed baby carrots are a simple yet elegant side dish that's perfect for any occasion. I've been making this recipe for years, and it's always a hit! Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 2.5 pounds baby carrots
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Cook the carrots

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Place 2 ½ pounds of baby carrots into the Thermomix bowl. Add enough water to cover the carrots. Cook for 20 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Drain the carrots

Carefully drain the cooked carrots using the simmering basket. Ensure all water is removed.

Glaze the carrots

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/140°F/Gentle stir speed/Linkslauf 60 Reverse

Return the drained carrots to the Thermomix bowl. Add 2 tablespoons of maple syrup and 2 tablespoons of butter. Cook for 5 Min./60°C/Sanftrührstufe/Linkslauf, or until the carrots are coated in the glaze.
