Description

This white cabbage soup is a hearty and healthy dish, ideal for the cold season. With ingredients like white cabbage, bell peppers, carrots, and celery, it is rich in vitamins. Preparation takes about 75 minutes and yields a large portion, perfect as a main course or for meal prepping. It is easy to prepare and is well-suited for a balanced diet.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 1 kg White cabbage
  • 1.5 Stück Bell peppers, red
  • 400 g Carrots
  • 300 g Celery stalks
  • 2 Stück Potato
  • 1 Stück Lemon
  • 1 Stück Leeks
  • 1 Tüte Soup (onion soup)
  • 1 gr Can/s Tomato(es), peeled
  • Soy sauce

Preparation (8 steps)

Preparing the White Cabbage

Remove the outer leaves from the 2 kg white cabbage. Quarter the cabbage and cut out the core. Cut the cabbage quarters into strips.

Preparing the Peppers

Rinse, clean, and remove the seeds from 3 red bell peppers. Cut the peppers into cubes.

Preparing Carrots and Potatoes

Peel, rinse, and slice 700-800g carrots and 2 potatoes. Use the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 with the appropriate disc to cut the carrots and potatoes into even slices. Place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid and collect the cut vegetables.

Preparing Celery and Leeks

Remove the strings (woody parts) from 1 kg celery stalks and clean and rinse 2 leeks. Cut both vegetables into pieces.

Add Ingredients to the Pot

Put all the prepared ingredients in a large pot and cover with water.

Cooking the Soup

Stir in 1 packet of onion soup and cook everything for about 30 minutes/100°C/level 1.

Adding Tomatoes

Add 2 large can/s of peeled tomatoes with their juice and cook for another 15 minutes/100°C/level 1.

Seasoning the Soup

Now let the soup cool and store it in the refrigerator. Season with soy sauce (not salt) if necessary, in portions.
