Description
This peach tea is an absolute summer hit! I always make it when friends come to visit or I just need a fruity refreshment. The sweetness of the peaches harmonizes perfectly with the slightly tart black tea and the tangy lemon. I find it particularly delicious when the tea is served with lots of ice cubes and fresh peach wedges. The preparation is super easy and the tea can be prepared well in advance. An ideal drink for warm days!
Ingredients (4 ingredients)

8 piece Peaches

4 tbsp Granulated sugar

2 Beutel Black tea

1 piece Lemon
Preparation (8 steps)
Prepare peaches
Wash, pit and cut the peaches into wedges. Set aside half of the peach wedges. Place the remaining peach wedges in the mixing bowl.
Cook peach syrup
Add sugar and 500 ml water to the peaches in the mixing bowl and cook for 10 min./100°C/speed 1.
Pass peach syrup
Pour the peach syrup through a sieve into a bowl and let it cool. Clean the mixing bowl.
Prepare black tea
Pour 250 ml water into the mixing bowl and bring to the boil for 3 min./100°C/speed 1.
Let the tea steep
Put the black tea bags into the mixing bowl and leave to steep for 4 min./no temperature/speed 1.
Cool the tea
Remove the tea bags and add 250 ml of cold water to the tea in the mixing bowl. Allow the tea to cool completely.
Finish iced tea
Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the tea in the mixing bowl. Mix for 5 sec./speed 3.
Serve
Fill a large jug with ice cubes and the remaining peach wedges. Pour the cooled tea and the peach syrup from the mixing bowl into the jug and serve.
