Description

This festive potato and fruit salad is a traditional dish in many celebrations. The combination of potato, carrot, apple, pineapple and cooked ham, along with a creamy yogurt and mayonnaise sauce, makes it a refreshing and delicious option. Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 600 g Potato
  • 2 piece Apple
  • 2 piece Carrot
  • 125 g Peas
  • 150 g Cooked ham in cubes
  • 100 g Pineapple in syrup in cubes
  • 100 g Cooked corn
  • 1 piece Greek yogurt
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 piece Lemon juice
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Ground black pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Preparation of potatoes and carrots

Peel the potatoes and carrots. Cut them into cubes of approximately 1 cm. Place 600 g of potatoes and 2 carrots in the bowl.

Cooking potatoes and carrots

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add water to the bowl to cover the potatoes and carrots. Cook for 15 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Drain and cool

Drain the cooked potatoes and carrots in the simmering basket and let cool completely.

Preparation of the apple

Peel and cut 2 apples into cubes. Mix the apple cubes with the juice of 1 lemon to prevent them from oxidizing.

Mixing ingredients

In a large bowl, mix the cooked and cold carrots and potatoes with 125 g of peas, 150 g of cooked ham in cubes, the apple with lemon juice, 100 g of pineapple in syrup in cubes and 100 g of cooked corn.

Preparation of the sauce

Thermomix® Setting

In the bowl, add 1 Greek yogurt, 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 2 tablespoons of mustard. Mix for 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Incorporating the sauce

Pour the sauce over the rest of the ingredients in the large bowl. Mix gently to combine all the ingredients.

Season and serve

Season the salad to taste with salt and ground black pepper. Mix well. Serve cold.
