Description

This garlic and lemon roasted chicken is a simple and tasty dish, perfect for a family meal or a dinner with friends. The combination of garlic, lemon and parsley brings an irresistible freshness and fragrance to the poultry. I have been preparing this dish for years and it is always a hit. The chicken skin becomes crispy and the flesh remains tender and juicy. Feel free to add some seasonal vegetables to the dish for a complete meal. A real delight, easy to make and economical!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 1 morceau(x) Chicken
  • 3 tête Garlic
  • 1 Citron(s) Lemon(s)
  • 0.5 bouquet(s) Parsley
  • 3 c. à soupe Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Seasoned chicken

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Salt and pepper the piece of chicken.

Dish preparation

Oil an oven dish with 3 tbsp of oil. Place the chicken in the dish and drizzle with a little oil.

Garlic preparation

Peel 3 heads of garlic, remove the germ and cut them in half. Add them to the chicken.

Chicken cooking

Bake the dish for 60 Min. at 180°C.

Lemon and parsley preparation

Take the zest from the lemon; cut them into strips and mix them with 0.5 bunch of chopped parsley.

Chicken basting

During cooking, regularly baste the pieces of chicken with lemon juice diluted with a little water.

Presentation

Serve hot in the cooking dish, sprinkled with the rest of the zest and parsley.
