Description

Festive Crunchy Muesli

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 200 g Oat flakes, coarse
  • 1 tbsp Gingerbread spice
  • 100 g Almonds, chopped
  • 50 g Pistachios
  • 3.5 tbsp Honey
  • 5 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 100 g Cranberries, dried
  • 100 g Grated chocolate, bittersweet

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare nuts

Thermomix® Setting

Put 100 g of chopped almonds and 50 g of pistachios into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 5. If necessary, use the spatula to push it away from the edge and repeat the process until the desired consistency is reached.

Mix dry ingredients

10 sec/Speed 3

Add 200 g oat flakes (coarse) and 1 tbsp gingerbread spice to the chopped nuts in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec./level 3.

Add liquid ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 3.5 tbsp honey and 5 tbsp sunflower oil to the mixing bowl and stir in for 20 sec./level 3 until all ingredients are well mixed. If necessary, use the spatula to help.

Bake muesli

Preheat the oven to 160 °C convection. Place the muesli mixture from the mixing bowl on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and spread evenly. Bake for about 20 minutes, mixing the muesli on the sheet halfway through and continuing to bake.

Refine muesli

Let the baked muesli cool down completely. Then carefully fold in 100 g of dried cranberries and 100 g of bittersweet grated chocolate.
