Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 16 ounce bow tie pasta
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 2 piece skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste
  • 0.5 cup pesto sauce
  • 0.33333333333333 cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and cut into strips

Preparation (5 steps)

Cook the pasta

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add 1 (16 ounce) package bow tie pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes; drain and set aside.

Mince the garlic

Sauté the garlic

Cook the chicken

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in 2 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces and season with 1 pinch crushed red pepper flakes. Cook until chicken is golden and cooked through. Set aside.

Combine ingredients

Combine the cooked pasta, chicken, ½ cup pesto sauce, and ⅓ cup oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes, drained and cut into strips in a large bowl; toss to coat evenly. Serve immediately.
