Description

This Thermomix® recipe for creamy pasta with asparagus and ham is a quick and hearty main course. The main ingredients are pasta, asparagus, ham and parmesan. In just 30 minutes, a delicious meal for 4 people is created. Ideal for student cuisine or as an uncomplicated family meal.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 300 g Pasta
  • 500 g White asparagus
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 200 g Cooked ham
  • 2 EL Olive oil
  • 200 g Cream
  • 150 ml Vegetable broth
  • 50 g Grated parmesan
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • 1 EL Chopped chives

Preparation (8 steps)

Cook pasta

Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in a separate pot. In the meantime, continue with the next steps.

Chop onion

Peel and quarter the onion and place in the mixing bowl. Then chop for 3 seconds/speed 5.

Sauté onion

Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare asparagus

Peel the asparagus, cut off the ends and cut the spears into approx. 3 cm long pieces. Cut the ham into strips.

Add asparagus and ham

Place the asparagus and ham in a pan and fry for about 8 minutes over medium heat.

Prepare sauce

Add cream and vegetable broth to the mixing bowl and simmer for 5 min./90°C/speed 2.

Add pasta and parmesan

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Add the cooked pasta, the fried asparagus with ham and the grated parmesan to the mixing bowl and mix in for 20 sec./reverse rotation speed 2.

Season and serve

Season the pasta with salt and pepper and serve with chopped chives.
