Description

Sladkaja Kolbaska (Sweet Chocolate Sausage) is a simple confection made from butter biscuits, peanuts, margarine, milk and cocoa, prepared in the Thermomix®. This Russian dessert is ready in about 30 minutes and yields 3 servings. Ideal as a sweet treat, finger food or homemade gift idea, especially around Christmas time. The recipe is quick and easy to implement.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 600 g Butter biscuits
  • 200 g unsalted peanuts
  • 150 g Margarine
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 20 g Baking cocoa
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 3 Stück 3 l freezer bag

Preparation (10 steps)

Chop butter biscuits (part 1)

Place 200 g butter biscuits in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 4.5. Transfer to a large saucepan.

Place another 200 g butter biscuits in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 4.5. Add to the other biscuits in the pot.

Place the remaining 200 g butter biscuits in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 4.5. Add to the other biscuits in the pot.

Chop peanuts

Place unsalted peanuts in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add to the butter biscuits.

Melt margarine and milk

Place margarine and milk in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./70°C/speed 1.

Add sugar, cocoa and egg

Add sugar, baking cocoa and egg and mix for 20 sec./speed 3.

Heat liquid

Then set the Thermomix to 2 min./100°C/speed 2.

Mix liquid

Pour the liquid over the butter biscuits/peanuts and mix well with the spatula.

Shape and chill

Open the freezer bags (3 l) and divide the mixture between three bags. Press together nicely and form into a sausage, close, let cool and then place in the refrigerator overnight.

Serve

Cut open the freezer bag with scissors, remove the chocolate sausage and cut into slices.
