Description
A simple and delicious zebra cake recipe.
Ingredients (11 ingredients)

375 g Flour Type 405

1 Pck. Baking powder
-
1 Prise Salt
-
200 g Sugar
-
1 Pck. Vanilla sugar

5 Stück Eggs, size M
-
200 ml Milk
-
250 ml Sunflower oil
-
30 g Cocoa
-
10 g Butter, soft
-
2 EL Powdered sugar
Preparation (11 steps)
Prepare springform pan
Grease the springform pan (26 cm diameter) with soft butter.
Mix dry ingredients
Add 375 g flour and 1 packet baking powder to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 4.
Add more dry ingredients
Add 1 pinch of salt, 200 g sugar and 1 packet of vanilla sugar and mix for 5 sec/speed 3.
Add liquid ingredients
Add 5 eggs, 200 ml milk and 250 ml oil and stir for 30 sec/speed 4.
Divide dough
Divide the dough into two equal portions. Place one portion in a separate bowl.
Prepare cocoa dough
Add 30 g cocoa powder and 3 tablespoons of milk to the remaining dough in the mixing bowl and stir for 15 sec/speed 4.
Preheat oven
Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat.
Layer zebra cake
Alternately add 2 tablespoons of light and dark dough to the center of the springform pan until all the dough is used up.
Baking
Bake the zebra cake in the preheated oven at 180 °C top/bottom heat for 40 minutes (do a chopstick test).
Let cool
Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then remove from the pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
Serve
Sprinkle the zebra cake with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and serve.
