Description

This Thermomix® recipe for whole wheat spaghetti with minced meat broccoli sauce is a hearty and quick main course with whole wheat spaghetti, broccoli and ground beef. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 50 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for student kitchens or as an uncomplicated family meal. Thanks to the whole wheat spaghetti and broccoli, the dish is filling and nutritious.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 300 g Whole wheat spaghetti
  • 1 Kopf Broccoli
  • 1 große Tomato
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 1 EL Olive oil
  • 400 g Ground beef
  • 2 EL Tomato paste
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 1 EL Chopped garden herbs - frozen
  • 2 EL Grated Parmesan
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (9 steps)

Cook noodles

Cook 300 g whole wheat spaghetti according to the package instructions in a separate pot. In the meantime, continue with the next steps.

Prepare broccoli

Divide 1 head of broccoli into florets and cook in a separate pot with salted water for 3 minutes. Then rinse with cold water.

Prepare tomato

Cut 1 large tomato into small cubes and set aside.

Chop onion and garlic

Place 1 peeled onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add 1 clove of garlic and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Use the spatula to push everything down from the edge.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 1 tbsp olive oil to the onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Fry minced meat

Fry 400 g ground beef vigorously in a separate pan with a little olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare minced meat sauce

Add the fried ground beef, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 200 ml vegetable broth, 100 ml cream and 1 tbsp chopped garden herbs (frozen) to the mixing bowl. Cook for 5 min./100°C/speed 1.

Add broccoli and tomatoes

Add the cooked broccoli and diced tomato to the mixing bowl and fold in for 2 min./90°C/reverse rotation speed 1.

Serve

Mix the minced meat broccoli sauce with the whole wheat spaghetti and serve with 2 tbsp grated Parmesan.
