Description

These almond crescents from the Thermomix® are a vegan and festive dessert, ideal for the Christmas season. The main ingredients are marzipan, ground almonds and almond drink. The preparation of the cookies takes about 45 minutes and yields an unknown number of servings. Almond crescents are perfect as finger food or a sweet treat for the whole family.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 200 g Marzipan
  • 100 g Ground almonds
  • 100 g Powdered sugar
  • 40 ml Almond drink
  • 1 TL Cinnamon
  • 1 TL Vanilla sugar
  • 100 g Flaked almonds
  • 75 g Bittersweet chocolate coating

Preparation (6 steps)

Mix marzipan, ground almonds, powdered sugar, almond drink and cinnamon

Put 200 g marzipan, 100 g ground almonds, 100 g powdered sugar, 40 ml almond drink and 1 teaspoon cinnamon into the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 4.

Add vanilla sugar

Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar and stir in for 10 sec./speed 3.

Shape dough

Shape small crescents from the dough and roll in 100 g of flaked almonds.

Bake

Place the almond crescents on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C circulating air for 8-9 minutes.

Melt chocolate coating

Put 75 g of bittersweet chocolate coating in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 4 min./50°C/speed 2.

Decorate almond crescents

Decorate the cooled almond crescents with the melted chocolate coating.
