Description

This recipe for yogurt whole grain crust is a hearty bread that is ideal for breakfast or as a side dish. With spelt flour and sunflower seeds, it is a healthy and filling option.   • 350 g Spelt flour 630
  • 100 g Whole spelt flour
  • 50 g Sunflower seeds
  • 500 g Natural yogurt
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Honey
  • 10 g Fresh yeast

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Add 350g spelt flour 630, 100g whole spelt flour, 50g sunflower seeds, 500g natural yogurt, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp honey and 10g fresh yeast to the mixing bowl and process into a dough for 3 min./kneading stage.

Let the dough rise

Place the dough in a large bowl or stainless steel bowl and let it rise for about 2 hours.

Shape and place dough

Dust the dough base with a little flour. Place the dough on it and fold into a loaf of bread. Place the dough piece in the cold, floured Zaubermeister.

Prepare bread

Cut with a sharp knife and sprinkle with a little flour.

Bake bread

Bake in the oven at 230°C top/bottom heat for approx. 60 minutes (do not preheat). The bread is baked with the lid on.

Let bread cool

Turn the bread out of the Zaubermeister immediately and let it cool on the cake rack.
