Description

These roasted potatoes with rosemary are a simple but delicious side dish, perfect to accompany any main course. The potatoes, preferably yellow-fleshed, are first boiled and then roasted in a pan with garlic, extra virgin olive oil and fresh rosemary. The result is an irresistible combination of external crispness and internal softness. I often prepare them when I have little time but still want something tasty and satisfying. They are excellent both hot and warm and are prepared in about 40 minutes. A real comfort food!

Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Potatoes
  • 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 pinch Aromas of your choice
  • 1 rametto Fresh rosemary

Preparation (4 steps)

Boil potatoes

20 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Choose potatoes more or less the same size, wash them and place them in the basket. Pour 1 liter of water into the jug. Place the basket in the jug and cook the potatoes for 20 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Slice potatoes

Remove the potatoes from the basket and let them cool slightly. Peel them and cut them into not too thin slices. Divide each slice in half to obtain two segments.

Brown garlic

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Pour 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 1 clove of garlic into the jug. Brown for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Roast potatoes

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/248°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 120 Reverse

Remove the garlic from the jug. Add the potato wedges, 1 sprig of fresh rosemary and aromas of your choice to the jug. Roast for 10 Min./120°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.
