Description

This low-carb ground meat and cabbage skillet is a hearty and satisfying main course that is ideal for a low-carbohydrate diet. Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 300 g Ground meat
  • 500 g White cabbage
  • 200 g Onions
  • 2 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 20 g Olive oil
  • 1 TL Paprika powder
  • 0.5 TL Caraway seeds
  • 0.5 TL Marjoram
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 0.5 TL Pepper
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 1 EL Parsley, chopped

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare onion and garlic

Place 200g onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./Stufe 5. Then push down with the spatula.

Sauté onion

Add 20g olive oil to the chopped onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add garlic

Add 2 cloves of garlic to the onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./Stufe 7. Then push down with the spatula.

Prepare white cabbage

Thermomix® Setting

Place 500g white cabbage in coarse pieces in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./Stufe 4. Then push down with the spatula.

Brown meat

Brown 300g ground meat in a separate pan with a little olive oil until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper.

Add white cabbage and spices

Add the browned ground meat, 1 tsp paprika powder, 1/2 tsp caraway seeds, 1/2 tsp marjoram, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 100ml vegetable broth and 100g cream cheese to the white cabbage in the mixing bowl and cook for 15 min./100°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Sprinkle the ground meat and cabbage skillet with 1 tbsp of chopped parsley and serve.
