Description
With the Thermomix®, the sunken apple cake is ready in no time at all. The main ingredients are apples, flour, eggs, sugar and margarine. The preparation time is about 60 minutes, of which 20 minutes is working time. The recipe is ideal for simple cakes and makes a delicious cake for the whole family. Perfect as a dessert or with coffee.

125 g Margarine

125 g Sugar

2 Stück Eggs

1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar

250 g Flour
-
2 TL Baking powder
-
18 EL Milk
-
500 g Apples
-
1 Stück Lemon (juice)

1 nach Bedarf Icing sugar
Preparation (6 steps)
Prepare apples
Peel, halve and core the apples. Score the round side several times and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Prepare dough
Put margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./speed 4 until creamy.
Add flour and baking powder
Add flour and baking powder and stir in for 1 min./speed 3. Gradually add milk and stir for a further 30 sec./speed 3 until a smooth dough is formed.
Pour dough into mold and place apples on top
Pour the dough into a greased springform pan and spread the prepared apple halves in a circle on top.
Baking
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 30-40 minutes.
Serve
Sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
