Description

This recipe for stuffed peppers with rice and ground meat is a hearty main course that is prepared in the oven. Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 6 Stück Bell peppers
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 600 g Ground meat - mixed
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 200 g Cooked rice
  • 1 TL Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • 2 TL Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 EL Chopped parsley
  • 500 ml Tomato sauce

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop onion

Thermomix® Setting

Peel and quarter the onion and place in the mixing bowl. Then chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Prepare ground meat

Have the ground meat ready in a bowl. The meat is not prepared in the Thermomix.

Prepare rice

Have the cooked rice ready in a bowl.

Mix filling

Mix the chopped onion, ground meat, egg, and rice in a bowl with your hands and season vigorously with salt, pepper, paprika powder, and chopped parsley.

Fill peppers

Cut off the tops of the bell peppers, remove the seeds and membranes from the peppers. Fill the mixture into the bell peppers and put the lids on top.

Prepare tomato sauce

Pour the tomato sauce into a baking dish and place the stuffed bell peppers on top.

Simmer peppers

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees convection. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and simmer everything for 60 - 70 minutes.
