Description

This turkey curry pot recipe is a quick and easy dish, ideal for student cooking. Tender sliced turkey is combined with aromatic spices and a creamy sauce. Prepared in just 40 minutes, it offers a protein-rich and satisfying meal for everyday life. Served with rice, it is a complete main course for the whole family. The preparation is done with the Thermomix®.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 600 g Sliced Turkey
  • 2 EL Rapeseed oil
  • 1 EL Flour
  • 3 TL Curry
  • 1 EL Tomato paste
  • 500 ml Poultry stock
  • 200 g Cream
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop onion

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Peel and quarter an onion and place in the mixing bowl. Then chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onions

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 2 tbsp rapeseed oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1. If necessary, push down with the spatula.

Sear meat

Sear 600 g sliced turkey in a pan with some rapeseed oil from all sides. Add the sautéed onions from the mixing bowl to the meat in the pan and sauté briefly.

Add meat-onion mixture to the mixing bowl

Put the fried meat and onions into the mixing bowl.

Season and Deglaze

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add 1 tbsp flour, 3 tsp curry and 1 tbsp tomato paste and stir for 10 sec./speed 3. Then deglaze with 500 ml poultry stock and 200 g cream.

Let simmer

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Let the curry sliced meat simmer for 10 min./100°C/speed 1.

Season

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Season the curry sliced meat with salt and pepper and heat for another 2 min./100°C/speed 1 if necessary.
