Description

This varied vegetable cake is a simple and tasty recipe, perfect for a light lunch or a convivial dinner. I love preparing this dish because it is very adaptable: you can use seasonal vegetables or those you have on hand. The mixed vegetables bring a pleasant texture and a beautiful variety of flavors. The melted Gruyère adds a gourmet touch and the fresh cream makes it all soft. It's a comforting dish that pleases the whole family. Don't hesitate to add fresh herbs for even more flavor! This cake is ideal for a picnic or a buffet.

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 450 g mixed vegetables
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 60 g gruyere
  • 1 container fresh cream
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Preheat the oven

Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).

Mix the ingredients

20 sec/Speed 4

In the Thermomix bowl, add the eggs, grated Gruyère, fresh cream, salt and pepper. Mix 20 Sec./Level 4.

Incorporate the mixed vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Linkslauf/Speed 2 Reverse

Add the mixed vegetables to the mixture in the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently 10 Sec./Left rotation/Level 2 using the spatula so as not to crush the vegetables.

Pour into the mold

Pour the preparation into a cake tin previously buttered and floured.

Bake in the oven

Bake the vegetable cake and cook for about 40 minutes, or until it is golden brown and cooked through. Check for doneness with the tip of a knife.
