Description

This recipe for fish balls made from salmon and hake is a hearty main course prepared in the Thermomix®. The fish balls are high in protein and cooked in a creamy sauce. The dish is prepared in about 45 minutes and is suitable for 4 servings.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 0.5 Stück Onion
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 40 g Butter
  • 200 g Salmon fillet
  • 200 g Hake fillet
  • 1 Stück Egg
  • 20 g Breadcrumbs
  • 1 EL Lemon juice
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 100 ml Milk
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper

Preparation (9 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Thermomix® Setting

Put 1/2 onion and 1 clove of garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. If necessary, push down with the spatula.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add 20 g butter and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Prepare fish

Cut 200 g salmon fillet and 200 g hake fillet into cubes and place in the mixing bowl.

Chop fish

Add 1 egg, 20 g breadcrumbs, 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt and pepper and mix for 15 sec./level 5.

Form fish balls

Form small balls from the fish mixture with floured hands.

Prepare sauce

3 sec/Speed 5

Put 1/2 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. If necessary, push down with the spatula.

Sauté onion

Add 20 g butter and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Finish sauce

5 min/194°F/Speed 2 194°F

Add 100 ml cream, 100 ml milk, 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt and pepper and cook for 5 min./90°C/level 2.

Cook fish balls in sauce

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 194°F Reverse

Add the formed fish balls to the sauce and cook for another 10 min./90°C/Reverse rotation level 1.
