Description
This ant hill ring cake from the Thermomix® is a festive cake classic with butter, icing sugar, eggs and chocolate sprinkles. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 80 minutes, of which 20 minutes are active working time. The recipe yields one ring cake and is perfect as a dessert or with coffee. Ideal for those who like to bake cakes and are looking for a special treat for family and guests.

25 dag Icing sugar

1 Packung Vanilla sugar

5 Stück Eggs

25 dag Flour
-
0.5 Packung Baking powder

0.125 l Rum
-
0.5 Packung Chocolate sprinkles
Preparation (6 steps)
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy
25 dag butter, 25 dag icing sugar and 1 pack vanilla sugar into the mixing bowl and mix for 3 min./speed 4 until fluffy.
Add eggs and mix
Add 5 eggs and mix for 1 min./speed 3.
Mix baking powder and flour
Mix 25 dag flour and ½ pack baking powder in a separate bowl.
Stir in flour mixture and rum
Add the flour mixture and 1/8 l rum to the mixing bowl and stir in for 30 sec./speed 3.
Fold in chocolate sprinkles
Carefully fold in ½ pack chocolate sprinkles with a spatula.
Bake
Pour the batter into a ring cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for approx. 1 hour.
