Description

Apple sheet cake, a family recipe, perfect for coffee in the autumn.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 200 g soft Butter
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 3 piece Apples
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 150 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 100 g cold Butter
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Preparation (10 steps)

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat.

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy

Put 200 g soft butter, 180 g sugar and 1 packet of vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min/speed 3 until creamy.

Add eggs, flour and baking powder

Add 4 eggs, 300 g flour and 1 packet of baking powder and mix for 2 min/speed 4.

Stir in milk

Add 150 ml milk and stir in for 30 sec/speed 3.

Prepare apples

Peel and core 3-4 apples. Place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid, select the fine slice disc and cut the apples into fine slices. Collect the cut material.

Spread dough on baking sheet

Place the dough on a baking sheet (approx. 20x30 cm) lined with baking paper and spread evenly.

Place apple slices

Spread the apple slices on the dough.

Prepare cinnamon crumble

For the cinnamon crumble, put 150 g flour, 100 g sugar, 100 g cold butter in pieces and 1 tsp cinnamon in the mixing bowl and process into crumbles for 30 sec/speed 5.

Spread crumble and bake

Sprinkle the cinnamon crumble over the apple slices and bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

Let cool and serve

After baking, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool. Optionally dust with powdered sugar and serve.
