Description

This Argentinian-style casserole chicken is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for a family meal. The combination of tender chicken, fresh vegetables and a touch of white wine creates a delicious sauce that will transport you directly to the Argentinian pampas. Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 800 g Chicken thigh, drumstick
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 piece Red pepper
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 1 piece Tomato
  • 150 ml White wine or beer
  • 250 ml Broth
  • 1 piece Bay leaf
  • 1 cucharadita Sweet paprika
  • 1 cucharadita Dried oregano
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh parsley

Preparation (12 steps)

Prepare the chicken

Season the 800 g of chicken thighs and drumsticks with salt and pepper to taste. Reserve.

Chop the onion

Add the sweet paprika

Add 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika to the glass and mix for 10 seconds at speed 1.

Add the tomato and bay leaf

Add 1 tomato cut into pieces and 1 bay leaf to the glass. Cook for 3 minutes at 100°C at speed 1.

Brown the chicken

In a separate pan, heat a little oil over medium-high heat. Brown the seasoned chicken until it is well browned on the outside. Remove the chicken and set aside.

Add the chicken and wine

Add the browned chicken to the glass. Pour in 150 ml of white wine or beer. Cook for 20 minutes at 100°C at speed 1 with left turn.

Add the broth

Add 250 ml of broth (or the necessary amount) to the glass. Cook for 10 minutes at 100°C at speed 1 with left turn.

Reduce the sauce

Remove the beaker and let the sauce reduce for 5 minutes at Varoma at speed 1 with left turn.

Adjust the seasoning and serve

Adjust salt and pepper to taste. Add 1 teaspoon of dried oregano. If desired, finish with optional chopped fresh parsley.
