Description

I love this recipe for aromatic mushrooms! The combination of fresh mushrooms, garlic and thyme is simply unbeatable. The creamy yogurt dip with herbs goes perfectly with it and makes the dish a real highlight. Whether as a starter, finger food for a party or simply as a delicious snack in between - these mushrooms are always a good choice. The preparation is super easy and thanks to the Thermomix® it's quick to prepare. They taste especially delicious with a crispy baguette. An absolute must for all mushroom lovers!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1000 g small Mushrooms
  • 1 bunch Spring onions
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 150 g Crème fraîche
  • 150 g Low-fat yogurt
  • Sprigs of thyme
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste white Pepper
  • 30 g soft Butter or margarine
  • 0.5 piece Baguette bread

Preparation (10 steps)

Chop garlic

Peel a clove of garlic, put it in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 seconds/speed 7. Then slide it down with the spatula.

Prepare dip

Add 150 g Crème fraîche, 150 g low-fat yogurt and the chopped garlic to the mixing bowl and stir for 10 seconds/speed 3.

Season dip

Season the dip with salt and white pepper and stir for 5 seconds/speed 2. Then transfer to a bowl and set aside.

Prepare mushrooms

Clean, wash and pat dry 1 kg of small mushrooms. Clean 1 bunch of spring onions, wash and cut into pieces. Peel and finely chop three cloves of garlic.

Fry mushrooms

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan. Fry the mushrooms in batches, turning, until golden brown.

Sauté spring onions and garlic

Add spring onions and chopped garlic to the mushrooms and sauté briefly. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare garlic cream

Mix 30 g of soft butter or margarine and remaining garlic. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare baguette

Halve ½ baguette lengthwise and spread with garlic cream.

Bake baguette

Cut the baguette into pieces and bake under the grill in the oven for about 5 minutes until golden brown.

Arrange

Add some yogurt dip to the mushrooms and sprinkle with the remaining thyme. Serve the dip and the garlic baguette with it.
