Description

This Asian-inspired chicken vegetable pan dish is a real treat and quickly prepared in the Thermomix®. The combination of tender chicken breast, crunchy vegetables and an aromatic Teriyaki sauce makes it a perfect dish for everyday life. I love how easy it is and how versatile it is - you can vary the vegetables depending on the season. It tastes particularly good with rice, but it is also a pleasure on its own. The preparation only takes about 40 minutes, ideal if you need something quick. An absolute favorite recipe!

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 250 g Chicken breast
  • 3 piece Carrot(s)
  • 1 piece Bell pepper(s), yellow or red
  • 1 bunch Spring onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger chopped
  • 2 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • 180 g Bamboo sprout(s) drained weight
  • 100 ml Soy sauce
  • 150 ml Water
  • 1 tbsp Sugar, brown
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch

Preparation (9 steps)

Chop carrots

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Add 3 medium carrots to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Push down with the spatula.

Chop pepper

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Add 1 yellow or red bell pepper in pieces to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Push down with the spatula.

Chop spring onions

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Add 1 bunch of spring onions in pieces to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Push down with the spatula.

Remove vegetables

Remove the chopped vegetables from the mixing bowl and set aside.

Chop ginger and garlic

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 7

Add 1 tbsp chopped ginger and 2 tbsp chopped garlic to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Push down with the spatula.

Prepare sauce

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Add 100 ml soy sauce, 150 ml water, 1 tbsp brown sugar and 1 tbsp honey to the mixing bowl and heat for 3 min./100°C/speed 2 until the sugar has dissolved.

Thicken sauce

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Stir 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp cold water until smooth, add to the mixing bowl and stir in for 1 min./100°C/speed 2.

Pour sauce

Remove the sauce from the mixing bowl and set aside.

Add vegetables and bamboo sprouts

3 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

Add the chopped vegetables, 1 jar (drained weight 180 g) of bamboo sprouts and the prepared sauce to the mixing bowl and simmer for 3 min./100°C/reverse rotation speed 1.
