Description

This poultry with curry and coconut dish is a real delight! I often prepare it for a quick and tasty dinner. The poultry, cut into strips, is coated in a creamy curry and coconut sauce, a marriage of exotic flavors that pleases everyone. The preparation is simple and quick thanks to the Thermomix®, making it an ideal dish for weeknights. Accompanied by basmati rice or green vegetables, it is a complete and balanced meal. A real treat for the taste buds!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 500 g Chicken scallop
  • 50 g Powdered coconut
  • 25 cl Fresh cream
  • 0.5 c. à soupe Tomato concentrate
  • 3 piece Sliced onion
  • 1 c. à soupe Curry powder
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation of the onions

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Slice 3 onions and place them in the Thermomix bowl with olive oil. Sauté the onions until they are translucent and lightly golden. Set 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking the poultry

Cut 500 g of poultry scallops into strips. Sauté the poultry strips in a pan with olive oil for 5 to 6 minutes, until they are cooked. Set aside the poultry.

Preparation of the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Add 50 g of powdered coconut, 25 cl of fresh cream, 0.5 tbsp of tomato concentrate and 1 tbsp of curry powder in the Thermomix bowl. Mix well. Set 5 Min./90°C/Stufe 2.

Seasoning the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Salt and pepper the sauce according to your taste. Mix 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Final cooking

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add the cooked poultry in the Thermomix bowl. Mix delicately with the spatula. Cover and let cook on low heat for 15 minutes. Set 15 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Adjustment of the seasoning and service

Adjust the seasoning if necessary. Serve hot with green beans or braised endives.
