Description

This dish of beef strips with cream and paprika is a classic revisited with the Thermomix®. I often prepare it for a quick and tasty dinner. The meat, cut into thin strips, is melting and the creamy paprika sauce is just perfect. A little white wine brings a touch of elegance to this comforting dish. It is ideal for cool autumn or winter evenings, accompanied by rice or fresh pasta. A real delight for the whole family!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 0.5 piece onion
  • 1 c. à c. paprika
  • 300 g beef
  • 1 c. à c. mustard
  • 5 cl liquid cream
  • to taste Salt or fine salt
  • to taste Mill pepper
  • to taste Sunflower oil
  • 5 cl white wine

Preparation of the onions

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Put half of an onion in the Thermomix bowl and chop finely for 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Scrape the sides of the bowl with the spatula.

Cooking the onions

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add a little sunflower oil to the Thermomix bowl and cook the chopped onions for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Seizing the meat

In a frying pan, heat a little sunflower oil over high heat. Add 300 g of beef cut into small strips and brown. Add 1 tsp of paprika, salt and mill pepper. Let it color again.

Deglaze and reduce

Deglaze the pan with 5 cl of white wine and let it reduce.

Adding the cream

Add 5 cl of liquid cream to the pan and mix.

Incorporation of the mustard

When the wine and sauce are reduced, turn off the heat and add 1 tsp of mustard. Stir.
