Description
These shortcrust pastry cookies are a classic for the Christmas season. The recipe is easy to prepare and is perfect for a cozy afternoon with the family. The cookies can be decorated as desired. The preparation time is approx. 45 minutes.
Ingredients (12 ingredients)

500 g Flour

250 g Sugar

250 g Butter

2 piece Eggs

1 packet Vanilla sugar

0.5 packet Baking powder

Egg yolk
-
Sugar sprinkles
-
Chocolate sprinkles
-
Nuts
-
Almonds
-
Pearl sugar
Preparation (3 steps)
Mix ingredients and make dough
Put 500 g flour, 250 g sugar, 250 g butter, 2 eggs and 1 packet of vanilla sugar and 1/2 packet of baking powder into the mixing bowl and knead for 2 min./kneading stage to form a dough.
Roll out dough and cut out cookies
Roll out the dough and cut out any shapes you like.
Cover and bake cookies
Place the cookies on a greased baking sheet, brush with egg yolk and decorate as desired with sugar sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles or with nuts, almonds or pearl sugar. Bake in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes at 200°C.
