Description

These blinis with red peppers and truffles are a festive treat perfect for year-end appetizers or special occasions. Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 18 piece Blinis
  • 1 piece Red pepper
  • 125 g Salted butter
  • 1 piece Truffle
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation (9 steps)

Pepper grill

The red pepper must be grilled until it is completely black. This can be done in the oven or over a direct flame. Once grilled, place it in a plastic bag for a few minutes to make it easier to remove the skin.

Pepper peel and cut

Once the pepper has cooled, peel it carefully and cut it into strips. Be sure to remove all seeds and white membranes.

Pepper cream prepare

Cut the salted butter into pieces and put it in the Thermomix bowl with the pepper strips and a pinch of pepper. Close the lid and use the measuring cup.

Cream mix

Mix until a smooth and homogeneous cream is obtained. If necessary, scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula and mix again.

Cream reserve

Pour the pepper cream into a bowl using a spatula and set aside in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to thicken slightly.

Truffle slice

Finely slice the truffle slices. Reserve a few slices for the final decoration.

Blinis arrange

Arrange the blinis on a serving dish. Make sure they are evenly spaced to facilitate frosting.

Blinis frost

Put the pepper cream in a fluted piping bag and frost the blinis nicely. If you don't have a piping bag, you can use a spoon.

Blinis decorate and serve

Sprinkle the blinis with a little minced truffle and serve immediately. You can also add a small touch of freshly ground pepper.
