Description

These brioches with a jam heart are a real treat for breakfast or a snack! The recipe is simple and with the Thermomix® it becomes even easier. The dough is soft and fragrant, thanks to the vanillin and orange zest, while the jam heart adds a touch of irresistible sweetness. I often prepare them for the weekend, when I have more time to dedicate to cooking, and they disappear in the blink of an eye! Perfect to enjoy with a cup of coffee or hot tea. You can vary the flavors of the jam to satisfy all tastes. A delicious idea to start the day with a smile!

Forming the balls

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface. Form balls of about 40 grams each, massaging them between the palms of your hands.

6

Arranging the balls on the baking sheet

Arrange the balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, keeping them spaced apart.

7

Pressing the balls

With a glass, gently press the balls to form discs.

8

Creating the heart shape

With your index finger, apply light pressure to create two small, close and symmetrical grooves, so as to form a heart shape.

9

Filling with jam

Pour the jam into the heart-shaped grooves, being careful not to get it on the rest of the biscuit.

10

Brushing with egg yolk

Brush the surface of the brioches with the beaten egg yolk.

11

Baking in the oven

Bake in a preheated ventilated oven at 170 °C for about 15 minutes.

12

Sprinkling with icing sugar

Once cold, sprinkle some icing sugar on the biscuits and serve.
