Description

These crispy briques with tuna and egg are a simple and tasty recipe, perfect for a quick lunch or an original appetizer. I love preparing these briques because they are quick to make and always a hit with my guests. The brick sheet becomes incredibly crispy when cooked, and the melting heart of egg and tuna is a delight. You can easily vary the filling with vegetables or spices for a consistently different result. Accompanied by a green salad, they constitute a complete and balanced meal. A real treat!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 2 Feuille(s) of brick
  • 1 boîte(s) Tuna
  • 2 Œuf(s) Eggs
  • 1 noix Butter

Preparation of brick sheets

Gently unfold the brick sheets on your work surface. The sheets are fragile, handle them carefully to avoid tearing them.

Preparation of the filling

In a bowl, mix half a can of tuna per person. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste.

Assembly of the briques

Place half of the tuna mixture in the center of each brick sheet. Make a small well in the center of the tuna and break an egg into each well. Salt and pepper lightly.

Folding the briques

Gently fold the brick sheet into a wallet. Bring two sides over the top of the egg, then fold the other two sides underneath to form a tightly closed rectangle.

Cooking the briques

Melt a knob of butter in a pan over medium heat. Gently place the briques in the pan and brown for 2 minutes on each side, until the brick sheet is crispy and the egg is cooked.

Preparation of the green salad

While the briques are cooking, prepare a green salad with your favorite dressing in the Thermomix bowl. Add 100 ml of olive oil, 30 ml of balsamic vinegar, a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix 10 Sec./Stufe 3.

Serve the crispy briques immediately with a good fresh green salad.
