Description

This chicken broth with vegetables is a comforting and nutritious dish, perfect for cold days or when you need a light but substantial dish. I have been preparing this recipe for years and it is always a success at home, especially among the little ones. The combination of tender chicken and fresh vegetables creates a delicious and balanced flavor. Also, it is an excellent way to take advantage of seasonal vegetables. You can add other vegetables such as green beans or zucchini to vary the flavor. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 4 piece Chicken thighs
  • 1 piece Carrot
  • 1 piece Radish
  • 1 piece Potato
  • 1 piece Sweet potato
  • 1 piece Turnip
  • 4 ramas Celery
  • 1 rama Leek
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 chorro Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation (5 steps)

Preparation of the ingredients

Wash and chop the carrot, radish, potato, sweet potato, turnip, celery and leek into medium pieces. Set aside.

Cooking the chicken

Thermomix® Setting
15 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Pour 1500 ml of water into the Thermomix bowl. Place the chicken thighs in the bowl. Program 15 min/Varoma/Stufe 1.

Add the vegetables

Add all the chopped vegetables to the Thermomix bowl. Program 15 min/Varoma/Stufe 1.

Serve the broth

Remove the chicken thighs and vegetables from the bowl. Place the chicken on a plate and the vegetables on another. The remaining broth can be used to prepare a soup.

Prepare the stew for children (optional)

Shred the chicken meat and chop the vegetables. Mix everything and season with a pinch of salt and a splash of extra virgin olive oil. Serve.
