Description

These fruit skewers with chocolate coating are a quick and easy dessert made from apples, bananas and grapes, refined with white, milk and dark chocolate. The recipe for the Thermomix® is prepared in 30 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal as a festive snack, finger food or sweet treat for the whole family, especially in winter and at Christmas time. Preparation in the Thermomix® guarantees optimal melting of the couverture.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 2 Stück Apples
  • 2 Stück Bananas
  • 100 g Grapes (seedless)
  • 100 g White chocolate couverture
  • 100 g Milk chocolate couverture
  • 100 g Dark chocolate couverture
  • 100 g Chopped almonds
  • Wooden skewers

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare fruits

Wash the apples, quarter them and remove the core. Cut the apple quarters into bite-sized pieces. Peel the bananas and cut into slices. Wash the grapes and pat dry.

Melt white chocolate couverture

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Put 100 g white chocolate couverture in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 3 Min./50°C/speed 2. Then transfer.

Melt milk chocolate couverture

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Put 100 g milk chocolate couverture in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 3 Min./50°C/speed 2. Then transfer.

Melt dark chocolate couverture

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Put 100 g dark chocolate couverture in pieces into the mixing bowl and melt for 3 Min./50°C/speed 2. Then transfer.

Assemble fruit skewers

Place the prepared pieces of fruit on wooden skewers as desired.

Cover and decorate skewers with chocolate

Dip the fruit skewers in the different melted couvertures as desired and then decorate with 100 g chopped almonds. Place the skewers on baking paper to dry. After drying, decorate the skewers with remaining chocolate as desired.
