Description

This dish of pork in creamy mustard sauce is a comforting and flavorful recipe, perfect for a family meal or a special dinner. The combination of tender pork with the mildly spicy mustard sauce and caramelized onion creates a delicious taste experience. I often prepare it in autumn, when you fancy something warm and tasty. It is very easy to make with the Thermomix®, and the result is always spectacular. You can accompany it with mashed potatoes, white rice or a fresh salad. A dish that everyone will surely love!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 500 gramo pork loin
  • 1 piece onion
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 50 centímetros cúbicos skimmed milk
  • 25 centímetros cúbicos white wine
  • 10 centímetros cúbicos neutral oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Onion in the Thermomix

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Peel and cut the onion into quarters. Introduce the onion in the Thermomix glass and chop for 3 seconds at speed 5. With the spatula, lower the remains from the walls of the glass. Add the oil and sauté for 5 minutes at 120°C at speed 1.

Reserve the onion

Remove the onion from the glass and reserve in a separate container.

Brown the pork in the pan

In a non-stick frying pan, brown the pork loin slices for 1 minute on each side. Remove and reserve.

Add onion and white wine

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add the reserved onion to the Thermomix glass. Incorporate the white wine and program 2 minutes at 100°C at speed 1, without beaker, to evaporate the alcohol.

Prepare the sauce

In a separate bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in the cold milk. Add the mustard, salt and pepper to taste and mix well.

Cook the sauce with the pork

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add the milk and cornstarch mixture to the Thermomix glass. Incorporate the pork loin slices. Program 5 minutes at 90°C at speed 1, with left turn, so that it does not stick.

Rest and serve

Turn off the Thermomix, cover and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
