Description

These crispy, golden-brown fried mushrooms are a real treat! I often make them as a small snack in between meals or as a tasty appetizer. The preparation is super easy and really quick thanks to the Thermomix®. The mushrooms are sliced, breaded and then fried in hot oil until golden brown. They taste especially delicious when served warm with some chopped parsley. A great recipe for anyone who likes it uncomplicated and delicious! Perfect for a cozy evening with friends or as a highlight on the buffet. Vegetarian and simply irresistible!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • Champignon mushrooms
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 00 Flour
  • Eggs
  • Milk
  • Salt
  • Chopped parsley
  • Peanut oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare mushrooms

Carefully clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth or paper towel to remove any soil residue. Do not wash under running water, as they will otherwise soak up water. Cut the cleaned mushrooms into thin slices and set aside.

Prepare egg mixture

Thermomix® Setting

Put the eggs, milk and a pinch of salt in the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./speed 3.

Prepare breading station

Place the flour and breadcrumbs in separate bowls. Pour the egg mixture from the mixing bowl into another bowl.

Bread mushrooms

First turn each mushroom slice in the flour, then pull it through the egg mixture and then turn it in the breadcrumbs so that it is completely covered. Place the breaded mushrooms on a plate or baking paper.

Heat oil

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan to 170°C. The temperature can be checked with a kitchen thermometer.

Fry mushrooms

Carefully place the breaded mushrooms in the hot oil and fry until golden brown on each side for 3-4 minutes. Turn occasionally.

Drain and season

Remove the fried mushrooms from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper to remove excess oil. Then add a little salt.

Serve

Serve the fried mushrooms warm and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
