Description

This cheesecake with fresh grapes is a real eye-catcher on every coffee table! The combination of creamy cheesecake and juicy grapes is simply irresistible. I especially like to bake this cake in autumn when there is a large selection of fresh grapes. The preparation is a little more complex, but the result is definitely worth it. The cake tastes best when it is well chilled. A tip: Use different types of grapes for an even more intense taste experience. It is perfect for birthdays or just for Sunday coffee.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 350 g green Grapes
  • 350 g blue Grapes
  • 90 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 1 piece Vanilla pod (pulp)
  • 5 piece Eggs (size M)
  • 150 g Flour
  • 1.5 tsp Baking powder
  • 300 g Double cream cream cheese
  • 150 g Vanilla yogurt
  • 1 packet Sauce powder vanilla flavor (for 500 ml liquid; for cooking)
  • 1 tbsp Pearl sugar
  • quartered Grapes for decoration

Preparation (9 steps)

Prepare Grapes

Remove 350 g green and 350 g blue Grapes from the stems, wash and drain. Then set aside.

Stir in butter, sugar and vanilla pulp

20 sec/Speed 4

Put 90 g butter or margarine, 1 pinch of salt, 50 g sugar and the pulp of 1 vanilla pod into the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec/speed 4.

Add eggs

Add 2 eggs (size M) one after the other and stir in for 10 sec/speed 3 each time.

Mix flour and baking powder and stir in

Mix 150 g flour and 1 ½ tsp baking powder, add to the mixing bowl and stir in for 20 sec/speed 3. Scrape down the sides with the spatula and stir in for another 10 sec/speed 3.

Prepare cream cheese mixture

30 sec/Speed 4

Put 300 g double cream cream cheese, 75 g sugar, 150 g vanilla yogurt, 3 eggs (size M) and 1 packet of sauce powder vanilla flavor (for 500 ml liquid; for cooking) into the mixing bowl and stir for 30 sec/speed 4.

Pour dough into springform pan

Pour the dough into a greased springform pan (26 cm Ø) lined with flour and smooth it out.

Spread Grapes and cream cheese mixture

Spread the prepared Grapes on the dough and pour the cream cheese mixture over it.

Bake cheesecake

Bake the cake in a preheated oven (electric oven: 175 °C/ convection: not suitable/ gas: level 2) for approx. 60 minutes.

Let the cheesecake cool and garnish

Remove the cake from the oven, place on a wire rack and let cool. Remove from the mold. Garnish with 1 tbsp pearl sugar and quartered Grapes.
