  • 150 g Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 pinch Iodized salt
  • 1 tsp Cardamom (ground)
  • 50 g Baking cocoa
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 50 g Powdered sugar
  • 250 ml Cremefine for whipping
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar

Preparation (11 steps)

Preheat oven and prepare trays

Preheat the oven to 190 °C (convection: 170 °C). Line two baking sheets with baking paper and set aside.

Beat margarine and sugar

Put 175 g margarine and 150 g sugar in the mixing bowl and beat for 2 min/speed 4 until a light, frothy mixture is formed.

Add eggs

Add 2 eggs and stir in for 30 sec/speed 3.

Mix dry ingredients

Thoroughly mix 250 g flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 pinch of iodized salt, 1 tsp cardamom and 50 g baking cocoa in a separate bowl.

Mix dry and liquid ingredients

Add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl alternately with 100 ml milk and stir for 1 min/speed 3. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge.

Place dough on trays

Place the dough on the prepared baking sheets with enough space between spoonfuls (there should be about 24 cupcakes). Do not flatten.

Bake cupcakes

Place the baking sheets in the preheated oven and bake the cupcakes for about 10 minutes. Then let cool on the baking sheet.

Stir cream cheese and powdered sugar

Put 200 g cream cheese and 50 g powdered sugar in the mixing bowl and stir for 30 sec/speed 3 until a smooth cream is formed.

Whip Cremefine

Put 250 ml Cremefine and 1 packet of vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl. Insert the butterfly and whip until stiff for 2 min/speed 3.5. Remove butterfly.

Fold in cream

Carefully fold the whipped Cremefine into the cream cheese cream in portions using a spatula. First thoroughly beat in a portion, then carefully fold in the rest.

Squirt on cream and assemble

Fill the cream into a piping bag or a simple plastic bag with a cut corner. Squirt small dabs of cream onto the flat underside of half of the cupcakes. Cover with a second cupcake - the chocolate cupcakes with vanilla cream are ready.
