Description

This apple clafoutis is a comforting and easy to prepare dessert, perfect for autumn days. I love its creamy texture and the delicate scent of vanilla and lemon that blend wonderfully with the apples. It is an ideal dessert for a Sunday brunch or a gourmet snack. The preparation is quick and the Thermomix® greatly facilitates the mixing of ingredients. You can use different varieties of apples according to your preferences. A real delight to share with family or friends! It can be served warm or cold, according to taste.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 4 piece apples
  • 3 piece eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 40 cl milk
  • 30 g flour
  • 1 clove vanilla
  • 1 citron lemon

Preparation (7 steps)

Preparation of the mold

Butter and lightly flour a gratin dish or ramekins. This will prevent the clafoutis from sticking and make it easier to unmold.

Preparation of the apples

Peel the 4 apples, dice them and place them in the gratin dish or ramekins.

Mixing the ingredients

20 sec/Speed 4

In the Thermomix bowl, add the 3 eggs and 100 g of sugar. Mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 4.

Adding flour and milk

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 3

Add 30 g of flour to the Thermomix bowl, then gradually pour in 40 cl of milk. Mix for 30 Sek./Stufe 3.

Adding vanilla and lemon

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 2

Scrape 1 vanilla bean and add it to the Thermomix bowl. Also add the zest of 1 lemon. Mix for 10 Sek./Stufe 2.

Pour the preparation

Pour the preparation over the apples in the gratin dish or ramekins, making sure that the apples are well covered.

Baking in the oven

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 30 to 40 minutes for a large dish, or 20 to 30 minutes for ramekins. Monitor the cooking and adjust the time if necessary.
